If using a high-wattage bulb or a bulb that could get hot, be sure your shade is properly ventilated. 40-watts is the maximum suggested bulb wattage for this item. Our pendant lamps include it all: 15½ foot cloth-covered lamp cord with switched socket, two finished ceiling hooks, two cord clamps for adjusting the height of the lamp, and easy-to-follow instructions.
